SERVICES  OFFERED

A session lasts 45 minutes for individual therapy and 60 minutes for relationship therapy.

Sessions are typically scheduled once a week.

I also offer phone and video based therapy to meet your scheduling needs.

Individual therapy uses the relationship as its foundation. We cannot heal in isolation. Having a space to feel seen and heard is vital to growth and change. My approach to therapy focuses on creating opportunities for insight, enhancing relaxation and coping skills, and body-based healing techniques. Areas of focus include:

  • PTSD and trauma

  • LGBTQ+ and queer identity

  • Gender identity

  • Life transitions 

  • Coping with the impact childhood trauma in adulthood

  • Coping with the impact of immigration

  • White racial identity development and grappling with white privilege for white people

Relationship therapy is offered to partners in relationship to enhance communication and work through difficult issues. I offer relationship that is affirming of LGBTQ+, queer, kink, and poly relationships.

Areas of focus include:

  • PTSD and trauma in one or more partners

  • LGBTQIA+ and queer identity

  • Gender identity

  • Transitions in identity in one or more partners

  • Life transitions 

  • Trust and boundaries

Group therapy can be powerful part of healing and growing, especially when participants share an experience or identity. Groups are offered on topics that include: 

  • Feeling at Home in Our Bodies:

    • Queerness and the body

    • Trauma and the body

    • Exploring non-binary identity

  • Intersections: Navigating ways to integrate privileged and oppressed identities

    • White anti-racist identity & Queerness​

    • White Womanhood: Disrupting Patriarchy, Unlearning Racism

Consulting services offered include individual support and group trainings on topics including: 

  • Gender and sexuality

  • LGBTQIA+ identity

  • Trans identity: Beyond the binary

  • White allyship and anti-racism

Clinical supervision is available to LMSWs and LCSWs. Supervision offered is trauma-informed and focused on reducing stress and increasing a sense of mastery, particularly around issues of trauma and oppression. Other areas of focus include: 

  • Understanding and working with trauma and PTSD

  • Working with adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse

  • Using an anti-oppressive and anti-racist lens

  • Substance use and other forms of extreme coping

  • Suicidal ideation
